Freelance Casual Driver / Installer
As a result of company growth, we are looking for a reliable experienced freelance drivers / installers to assist in delivering and setting up weddings and events throughout Cumbria and Northumberland. Both 7.5t and 3.5t vehicle drivers considered.
Responsibilities,
- Warehouse prep and vehicle packing
- Safe and timely delivery and collections of furniture and lighting products throughout Cumbria and Northumberland.
- Installing lighting and furniture into venues to an exceptional standard
- Cleaning and maintenance of furniture and lighting
- Strictly follow and comply with all health & safety rules ensuring RAMS are adhered to
- Forklift truck operation
- Obtaining customer feedback on site
Skills / Attributes Required
- Hold full UK Driving Licence (either standard UK car licence or HGV)
- Access to own vehicle to get to our Brampton warehouse
- Have a flexible schedule and be able to work frequent weekends (especially in the summer wedding season)
- Personable with excellent communication skills
- Exceptional eye for detail and love of things being ‘just right’
- Ability to efficient plan routes / daily schedules for on the road
- Be physically fit and well enough to carry furniture on site
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Warehouse experience (preferred)
